She showed up a lot throughout the show, usually in holo-calls to Kat. He wasn't allowed to go back home until he finished his mission, so she wasn't allowed to see him very long.
In the final episode, she's the only one of Kat's race that can speak English. So she served as a translator of sorts.
I only saw one episode, where kat develops an eating disorder and gets super fat.
Was good. Not good enough for me to look for the entire series though.
