I have only seen a few episodes of Ed, Edd N Eddy and what I have seen so far I do not like or find funny.

Maybe you watched some of the earlier episodes? The first few episodes of the show aren't great. It seems they were still trying to find out the character's personalities or something, but it eventually starts kicking off into an awesome show.

I could never really get into Ed, Edd n Eddy much either. I did like the concept and characters, but I didn't care about watching the show itself.
If you don't like minimalist casts, slapstick or the three stooges dinamic of the Eds then there's not much point in watching more than a dozen of episodes.
It's my favorite show of all time but i can see why some people wouldn't like it.

I have a theory.
EE+E always seemed mediocre as fuck to me, but maybe it's because I'm European.
The kids lived and behaved in a completely alien way to me, it was a complete fantasy setting.
Everyone lived in a house rather than an apartment, even poorer kids, they all played together outside without adult supervision, they had money of their own, they had Jawbreakers, which I assume parody some real brand or trend, there were people living in trailers who weren't gypsies etc.
I liked shows with crazy weird settings, and I liked down-to-Earth settings, but to me, EE+E was neither.
They were weird half-adults half-kids, voiced by clearly adult voice actors, with an intentionally grimy art style, parodying things I didn't even know about.
Rolf didn't even have a foreign accent here, he was just a weird farmer boy.

Jawbreakers are a real type of candy. It usually refers to hard, round candies that are meant to be sucked on and slowly dissolve in the mouth. The name comes from the fact that they're very difficult to chew on, to the point that your teeth will probably break before the candy does. They're called gobstoppers in Britain.

I'm American and watched this show as a kid and I felt the same way. I couldn't relate to the show at all and found it too weird and abstract to connect with it. Plus I didn't find it very funny.

I agree. I had some really nice times in life around the times those episodes were on the air. It all lined up perfectly. I liked the atmosphere of it too.
There's a few of the summer era too that are the best, but most of the school episodes were goat.

The only half decent argument but it has good animation that only increases in quality throughout the series. Squigglevision is nothing short of a labor of love to pull off. If you're a fan of animation in general you can see the merit in this show's art style.

If you find some of the most extreme slapstick and absurdist humor in modern cartoons boring, I'd like to see a counter example of cartoon comedy that is exciting. Not to mention that the comedic timing on all fronts is unreal, the sound effects are iconic, every voice actor has great delivery, and the music is performed and improvised LIVE.

No lie EE+E is definitely my favorite CN show and I still enjoy it as an adult.
The quality and fluidity of the animation in the later seasons surpasses any other western show aimed at kids I've seen; everything is in constant movement, crazy angles and perspectives in every episode, the character's expressions are gold, every screenshot is an reaction image. the music and sounds are memorable and funny, the comedic timing and cartoony slapstick is spot on.
Not to mention it's one of the few original CN shows that has a proper ending, and it was really good.
