Rick looked better thirty years ago.

The people saying X-Men make more sense in their own universe are actually people working at Marvel trying to push a meme or rather "meme", so that it would soften the blow if they decide to separate the X-Men from the Marvel Universe.
>>
>>81973280
Fuck off with that shill shit man, I've been saying X-Men should be it's own universe since I was 13, all those fucking books and characters are already their own landscape, making it official is just tidying up.
>>
I don't understand what any of this has to do with anything. Am I a shill or a faggot or both or what?
>>
>>81971046

I kind of hate that most modern Marvel comics seem to gloss over this kind of thing. The writing has really gotten lazy in that regard.
>>
>>81971046
But the X-Men do belong in their own Universe.

Fantastic Four definitely belong with the rest of Marvel though.
>>
I don't get how people can miss the point of the X-Men so hard to want them outta 616

I always thought a good comprimise between the "Own universe" and "shared universe" camps when it comes to the X-Men would be to make all the X-Men stuff in the past. Like all the X-Men shit happens between the late 60s and early 90s, and by the time the Avengers come around the X-Men are nothing but a school anymore with their mutant rights activist days behind them.
>>
>>81973482
The point of the X-men is lame as shit, they are just used as hamhanded stand-ins for whatever 'minority' group the higher-ups at Marvel think are trendy at the moment.
>>
>>81973587
Now now Skeeters, calm down, they ain't hurtin' nobody.
>>

everyone with different ideas than you are shills
>>
>>81973563
Weirdly enough, that's one thing that I really liked about the Avengers: Disk Wars anime. They had it so all the mutant rights and sentinels stuff had happened in the past before the main characters (since they were all kids) had even been born yet. To them, the X-men were just another superhero team, but the X-men still had a bit of bitterness from the days of them being hunted by sentinels.

Sure thing, shill.

Morrison tried to set that sort of thing up and Marvel went and decided "Being accepted? Having their own neighborhoods and culture like minorities actually do? Fuck that shit. Mutants should ALWAYS be a tiny group of people hunted to death, here's House of M to fix that right up."

I don't think I'll ever stop being bothered by how Marvel Civilians can be ungrateful shits towards the heroes.

Why did it take someone else calling them out on the fact that while there was a lot of property damage, they didn't die?

How heavy would that solid gold ball she's holding realistically weigh? It seems to heavy for a normie flatscan to hold like that.
>>
>>81971046
>>81971082
Yeah that has happened what five times in 60 years and the people actually have a legit fripe? Meanwhile
>>
>people still mad because irrational prejudices are irrational

Yeah that's totally unrealistic huh.
>>
>>81975877
You that, but Genosha as Mutant Israel was a thing that Morrison obliterated as his first act on the X-Men.
>>
>>81978067
Gold's weight is roughly 19.3 grams per centimeter. Assuming the gold ball is about 6 inches in its radius (which seems reasonable, though its hard to estimate which is why I'm using a round number like a half a foot) it has roughly 30 pounds to it, as its volume would be 904 cubic inches. My math might be a bit off, but we do get a solid number in about 30 pounds, which might be a bit little for her handling it like that but doesn't sound too unreasonable.
