What does /co/ think of Ruins?
Marvels > Ruins.
Yeah it's a parody but i've already seen the 'what if' scenarios so many time when heroes are mutated, deformed, bastardized.

I, too, have seen f4ntastic and BvS

maybe read a comic book for once you casual.
It's legit terrible. Super fucking bad.

Arguably the worst comic Ellis has ever written.

I only read scans on tumblr

It was literally what if Murphy's Law took place all at once, so much so that the book was terrible too.

I prefer to enjoy my capeshit via audiobook form, the true and purest form of "comic book"

Isn't this kind of Ennis in a nutshell? At least at this point?
We've already seen every conceivable take on "superheroes are actually bad/shitty". It's no longer edgy and provocative, it's just trite.

I liked it a lot. It was hilariously bleak and depressing to the point of absurdity.
>>81955506
Ruins is Ellis
>>81955605
Oh, fuck, you're right.
Well, shit, then I'm even MORE disappointed. Even when Ellis phones it in he's usually more creative and clever than this.

Really bad. The book wasn't funny enough to be a parody, wasn't insightfuly enough to be a criticism. It just ended up being a relatively well drawn piece of College Humour.

Shock for sake of shock. Tumor Hulk, Captain Cannibal, whore Jean, Lady Python fucking snakes, Ghost Rider being fucking insane guy... Eh.
>>81955434
Giant stone tablets written in Sanskrit, casual.

Even Ellis hates this book. He's practically disowned it.
