GotG3 has been confirmed for Phase 4. Yeah, we're talking Phase 4 already.

Dear lord indeed.

I feel like this new push for TV shows is just to one up Warner's four DC shows. To make sure Marvel is beating them on all fields.
>>
I'm all in.
>>
>>81951595
No one is forcing you to follow everything. Watch what you want and read the Wikipedia summaries if you're concerned you're missing anything in what you don't want to watch.
>>
>>81951881
I only said dear lord because I'm truly happy, anon.
>>
>>81951902

I'm with you/ My only problems right now are that TV and film need to be more connected, and Thor. Basically all of Thor is a mess. Oh well. Other than that, what a time to be alive indeed.
>>
>>81951931
I never cared about the Thor comic so I've been perfectly fine with the movies. Disguising Planet Hulk as Thor 3 is a stroke of genius on their part. Completely agree about the lack of connectivity. Hopefully they get their shit together at some point. It doesn't make much sense for nobody in Civil War to be concerned about the global terrigen outbreak.
>>
>>81951595
>Aits All Aconnected

What did he mean by this?
>>
>>81952090
AIT stands for Avengers In Theaters. It refers specifically to the film side of the MCU. That's why the shows don't crossover.
>>
>>81951876
Why is this such big news? Nobody does a hugely profitable 2-movie franchise anymore.
>>
>>81952219
It's not. Though it does seem pretty arrogant every time one of these studios announces sequels before other sequels even release.
>>
>>81952254
Guardians was a huge hit. It was probably their biggest cultural hit since Avengers. It was never out of question.

The only question will be is if Gunn stays or not, since HE is the franchise.

>>
>>81952328
Most Wanted is the Agents of SHIELD spinoff with Mockingbird and British Husband.
Damage Control is about the cleanup crew that deals with superhero aftermath.

Welp. They're literally converting the comic book model into filmed media. I wouldn't be surprised if it one day happened.

Fox did it with "The Wolverine Collection".
>>
>>81954504
I guess it ultimately depends on how many movies they make.
I can see Disney going hard in the bank by putting out collections as you've described, possibly even forcing people to double-dip for the team movies by including them in multiple packages; the Iron Man and Captain America sets could both include the Avengers movies and Civil War, for example.

I was assuming Heroes For Hire would be a Netflix series combining Luke Cage and Iron Fist's shows into one, opening up a slot for Marvel and Netflix to possibly get another series running.

nope. Daily reminder that no one is missing anything from watching Agents of Shit or any other shit TV show that's connected to the MCU.

S1 - So bad and the hype so big, that U.S viewers went from 12.12 million to 5.45 million by the finale, with their monster of the week. S2 was just painfully dragging until the world release of Cap 2.

The TV shows don't influence the movies. The movies dictate everything, the TV shows just show the low budget low scale side stories and expand on the repercussions. With the usual tropes like geeky scientists and le computer hacker.

Jeph Loeb can say all he want that the shows are #all connected, and he can continue to do so because he just looks like a fucking retard. I don't see Daredevil which is critically acclaimed having its' director and producer shilling DAREDEVIL IT'S ALL CONNECTED, EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED.

>>
Meanwhile, Fox is running their Marvel franchise into the ground (really sad about Gambit). What are the chances that some of the untapped IP gets screentime? What are the odds we'll see Hercules, Moon Knight, Domino, Shulkie, Namor,, or even Ms. Marvel any time soon?
>>
>>81951876

They aren't going to beat DC on tv with that shitty ABC line up. AoS barely beats Flash
>>
>>81955200

>It's all canon

So? Hellcat is canon, should we all go read that?
>>
>>81956259
>AoS barely beats the best cape show on tv

Well that's pretty good anon. Cloak & Dagger and Most Wanted (The Mockingbird Show) are both actual superhero shows. So we'll see. Marvel is already winning with Netflix alone.

>>81956301
What? The comic books aren't canon to the MCU. What is wrong with you?
>>
>>81956192
>S2 was just painfully dragging until the world release of Cap 2
Cap 2 came out during S1, and was the turning point for the show getting good. You're entitled to not liking it, but you can't just claim AoS being considered good must be some sort of meme because you personally don't enjoy it.
>>
>>81956206
Of those, I feel like Moon Knight has the best chance of being a phase 2 Netflix series with Punisher. Ms. Marvel seems to be a logical choice as well but not sure how they would do it. I feel like Ms. Marvel would be the prime candidate for the first animated MCU title.
>>
>>81956322

>>
>>81956493
>but watching a show just because it's connected to something that will never acknowledge it exists
That's not why we watch it, though. We watch it because it's good and we enjoy it. Yeah, being a spinoff of the movies is what got most people interested, but if all they wanted was crossovers most people clearly would have dropped it by now and this conversation wouldn't be happening.

Universal holds distributions rights to solo Hulk where Marvel has the right to make solo Hulk movies. So Marvel can do it, they just don't want to lose money on going through Universal for the blu-ray.

Are you being dumb? Fox is the one ruining Marvel stories. If they'd just make a deal with the literal creators of the characters, there wouldn't be an issue. Wolverine 3 will be Old Man Logan and Hawkeye will be replaced by some mutant. There are no heroes in the X-Men movies that aren't mutants.

1. The series takes place shortly after the one-shot with Stark's plans to found SHIELD falling by the wayside when he's framed.

>2. That suggested order is in the order of release which IS the definitive watch order for the MCU.
I placed the Netflix show where it was making the most sense, even though it doesn't follow the release order.
>>
>>81969385
Nah, the AoS marathon take place after Iron Man 3.

But there is an Agent Carter Marathon Before Avengers...

I wonder. Maybe it's for the best to just leave the Agent Carter One Shot after Captain America, and to only start the 2 (potentially 3) seasons of Agent Carter after Antman.
>>
>>81971234
>after the one-shot with Stark's plans to found SHIELD falling by the wayside when he's framed.
I am pretty sure the One Shot take place After the Series, as it concludes with Carter leaving the SSR and her boss emptying her for her.

Season 2 of Carter seems to indicate that the SSR is being restructured, with all the people who valued her being killed/leaving, resulting in the situation we saw in the One-Shot.
>>
>>81972871
But seasons 1 and 2 are both Peggy still working at the SSR. SHIELD isn't a thing yet in the series. Stark hasn't had time to move on with SHIELD plans.

I swear if season 3 isn't about the formation of SHIELD, this show will have been a huge waste of time.
>>
>>81973418
>But seasons 1 and 2 are both Peggy still working at the SSR. SHIELD isn't a thing yet in the series.
Exactly. Thus why the series take place Before the One Shot.

>I swear if season 3 isn't about the formation of SHIELD, this show will have been a huge waste of time.
All the season take place BEFORE the One Shot. If Season 3 ever get to happnes, it will be the trnasition between the end Of season 2 and the situation she was in at the satrat of the one-Shot.
>>
>>81973636
Actually, you're probably right. I hope that happens. But Peggy will have to be demoted to the bottom and moved to that office. That would be a good episode. But they have to continue on with the actual formation of SHIELD.
>>
>>81973729
>But Peggy will have to be demoted to the bottom and moved to that office.
I don't think she need to really be demoted from anything. her desk is still at the same place and she is still working under Broken-Leg's authority (at least on paper). The death of her Boss as well as her Boss's boss might lead to the Shmuck seen at the head of the SSR in the One-Shot not seeing Carter's capacities and relegating her to office work.

It only require Broken-Leg to die at some point during Season3.
