Ver...y...? They were all custom-designed to take down phase sixers but they're far from invincible. They have a super-fuel and strong metal coating and etc.. but they seem above-average at best imo, we saw some protagonists give them some difficulty at times.

The DJD jack themselves up with a special fuel only them and Megatron knew about. It makes them insanely strong and somewhat unstable.

At this point I just assume that IDW has some sort of in-house editorial law that Optimus must always be wrong and cannot be the wise, powerful leader he is supposed to be. He's extremely...Whats the word for it? Flanderized? Or whatever. Basically, nothing he ever does is right through a combination of circumstance that always makes it the wrong choices.

Already saw it, 100 times better than the season 1 finale, since it's actualy part of the plot/it's natural conclusion.Fixit's faulty memory meant he didn't remember that his part of the Alchemore was only one section of it, there were many more minicons aboard that fell along with the main portion of the starship, which went undetected due to the Alchemore's standard cloaking device. I won't spoil the ending since it's fun stuff, but Steeljaw used the other decepticon hunters stored in the ship to take control of the rest of the criminals.

I've read some of it. When you read his work alongside the UK material, it seems to not mesh well, but reading his stuff on his own, it's pretty good. There's some really select characters he's good with, like Shockwave, Ratchet, and Ratbat. I prefer his Buster, too.

Last Stand of the Wreckers was a damn good read. Although I felt that the death ofIronfist was a little unnecessary but it made sense since he knew he was going to die and that's what made him join the wreckers in the first place.

Well, you could argue (from a Cybertronian's perspective) that Optimus was a continuation of the corruption within the Autobots' ranks, or a disruption in their lives.
We've see before in the real world how citizens in a war-torn country will blame one country (America, for instance) for all the death and destruction wrought upon them, even going so far as to blame them for the war in the first place.
Might not be explaining it right, though.
So Optimus going back to Cybertron to investigate this new regime in the last episode. Shit sounds interesting if they really are going for a season 3.

To people outside of their inner circle it's pretty easy for some to think "Optimus and Megatron are both war-mongering violent assholes!"
