These are meant to be read by people who have never read a Marvel comic in their life. Or by people who so far has had zero interest in Marvel. It's meant to be am uncomplicated entry into both the MU and a story arc and you have to make concessions in order for that to work.

It doesn't matter even if it was made for FCBD people.If it was, then that's even worse. For FCBD, a writer should be the best available and show the best of his company to advertise them.
Bendis is neither the best writer Marvel has at it's disposal. Nor does it show what made Marvel a decent comic company.
Marvel used to have a reputation for continuity and story arcs. Its what got me into them over DC when I was young and scratching the surface of silver age comics. It meant that if I read an inconsistent element in a story, it could be explained in a different issue.
I loved that and still do.
But now, Marvel has lost all that consistency in their story telling and has devolved into a parody of what they were.
And that reason is not Disney.
For while Disney has been demanding more light heart stories with synergy all the while ignoring what originally made Marvel great in the first place, it starts with Bendis and Joe Q. Bendis has written mediocrity, destroying characters and continuity while Joe Q has been allowing it and punishing those who go against either him and Bendis.
That's allowed for mediocrity to take root and spread throughout the once great company. Now, it's a parody of what it once was as seen with 'Whor', the 'X-Men' and the 'Cosmic' aspect of Marvel. All of that can be traced back to Bendis and Joe Q.
So if you are Bendis, please don't defend the mediocrity you've produced for FCDB. You've been continually mediocre in all of your other works, ignoring and disrespecting the work by other writers more skilled than you could ever dream of being. It's because of you Marvel has turned into such a cancerous thing which I am still hoping can be saved. In fact, I'm hoping this will a nail in the coffin for all of your future work.
So please, just fuck off and write out your next mediocrity where you shill your pets, mock your critics, turn your heroes into unlikable pieces of shit and make your 'villains' sympathetic.
