is there a more underrated anime/show than the first Medabots series?
Peiple dismiss it as a Pokemon rip off, but I see as one of those anime classics that could be put in the same pedestal as Luppin the Third, Kinnikuman or Mazinger.
The production was really unique and creative, like watching one of those random anime movies with a really unique style
and despite being a really old show the technology is still pretty relevant
I wish the show continued the way it was like in S1. That whole kilobot thing ruined it, while this show and concept had a lot of potential

Honestly there were a lot of things worth liking about season 2... on its own. The disappeared characters, the re-introduced medabots and the new and exciting "excuse not to animate" mode medabots could now do were the bad parts, but I grew to like the secondary characters and villains for sure.

I hated how S2 basically took out all the secondary characters from S1. They were great and added a lot of life to the world of the show. S2 basically stuck to 1 antagonist for the most part and focused exclusively on ikki and metabee which I found to be kinda boring after a while.
