There's a line in a episode of Home Movies where a seminar the kids are crammed into is cut short when the community service is up for some guy. He leaves the stage really suddenly but says something like '...oh and don't protest in front of public buildings you get arrested'.
Well I was in a protest march for student loans being so high one time. And the whole thing moved from the town center to government owned property. And I refused to go. A lot of my friends called me a pussy but they all got arrested but meeeeeeeeeeee.

Same thing just happened this week, protests in DC about money in politics. They had permits for the street but they ended up moving to the steps and blocking people from going so they got arrested. Home Movies taught me the same thing
