Seriously, that theme song was the worst part of the show. The music is good, but the words are just nonexistent.
Disney's DVD volume 1 was apparently poorly manufactured, since all 3 of my disks have the aluminum already beginning to rust from the center. At least the actual data layer won't be fucked, since that area is isolated.

As always, Twister, your opinions are immediately discarded.

Jesus, Twister, why don't you curl up and die somewhere?
Underrated show. It had some great episodes. The fact that it was about running a small business was really fun, and its setting was cool.

Go ahead and recite the lyrics to someone who hasn't grown up with this show.
They'll tell you it's grade-A poetry.
The orchestral score by Christopher Stone is the real gem, musically speaking,

look how awesome the TG-16 cover for the game is
makes you want to play it, huh?
Did anyone actually like Rebecca as a kid? I mean, before you started wanting to fuck everything. She was always the kill-joy who wanted to ruin Baloo's fun.
>>81767062
no
no one likes a killjoy
>>81767062
I did. I recognized that there were some episodes where she was just written to be the bitch, and others that made her more endearing. Trouble is, there were more of the former than the latter.

The theme song sets the tone for the show, which is 'fun' and 'adventure' and 'don't think too fucking hard about it you goddamn autist', and I think the lyrics suit that perfectly.
>>81765009
A good song doesn't require good lyrics. I know of a lot of good songs that are literally gibberish.

>there were some episodes where she was just written to be the bitch, and others that made her more endearing
I think another anon explained a while back that the reason for this was that the episodes were apparently somewhat out of order.
She was meant to start off bitchy but then she and Baloo were on better terms as the show progressed.

Rebecca was the best character on the show...just not the most interesting. She's the only one keeping Baloo and his plane together. The general theme was that if Baloo made enough money, he could buy his plane back from her. So what? He's a lazy slob who with zero business skills. He would lose it again soon after.
The only time the show kinda pegs her as a bitch is the ep about her trying all these crazy money making ideas. But even then, is that really even that bad? Businesses take chances all the time on crazy shit trying to make a profit. Just look at the iWatch.
She even passes up the chance at eternal happiness with her ghost lover, but sends him away herself because of her responsibilities (granted Baloo does help reminding her). She's the ultimate underdog in the show forced to cope with everything just so there's food on the table for her little girl.
I'm a bit disappointed that they didn't do an Airlines themed episode.

Those things go hand in hand. A boring character isn't a good one.
