All I remember was that they were on some racing planet for most of the show and it was incredibly boring.

Pretty much every licensed property Marvel touched back in it's heyday was pure gold, Micronauts has to be my absolute favorite
IDW seems to do a fairly good job too, really loving their TMNT book
