I have to agree with this, Zoom's suit was designed in a way that made it look like it had melted and merged with Zoom himself, he was pretty intimidating in the earlier episodes when we were wondering what the hell he was.
Now he's just a guy in a suit, occasionally with black eyes and a strange voice. Wellsobard was intimidating in the last episode, not because of his suit but because of his character. Now that he's lost the mystery factor, all Zoom has going for him is his goal. "Muh speed" doesn't compare to S1.

The thing is with zoom's character is his unmasking.
It was done wrong and too soon without context to who he is. The mystery surrounding the character is still there, the questions are the same. Now the only difference is we have a normal face to put under the mask.
In context to the story (right now) we are supposed to believe that he is Jay just like the flash team do and that he has betrayed them but we can assume from the trailers that this isn't the case and his story is separate and much deeper.
