Yeah, my heart sunk when I heard of the reshoots and editing of Suicide Squad because BvS was "too dark". While it wasn't perfect, I enjoyed BvS and to have a movie as dark or close to it with all the lighthearted moments andquipsthat we've seen in the trailers would be a godsend to the genre.

While I do really want to see Darkseid and all that good Jack Kirby jazz I kind of wish he wasn't the main villain in Justice League Part 1.

One of my biggest issues with this is it feels like its just undercutting Infinity War - the grand coalescence of so many heroes and their shared casts to face off against an apocalyptic threat.
I'm almost certain it will be mishandled and underwhelming. The very worst thing it might do is jade audiences so much it winds up damaging expectations for IW - a film that has had a decade of construction
