Cat projects this image of herself as being this bitchy egomaniac, but all of her actions say the opposite. She sticks up for Kara and Supergirl multiple times when she doesn't have to, and only turns on Supergirl when it's necessary to protect the city... then gives Supergirl another chance when the red kryptonite wares off. She's emotionally distant with her family, but that's only because she's ashamed of the choices she herself made in the past and too scared to reconnect.
