I disagree, the opening is watchable, I actually like the way they did that, but the show doesn't offer much itself. It might be okay as like background noise, but I'd change the channel if I was actively watching TV.

but unlike TTG that tries to be as different as possible, this tries it's hardest to mimic the original and adds tumblr shit to it to be more progressive

It treated trans people as monsters, ridiculed men in dresses, got rid of a female role model, and promoted bullfighting.

It's something I can watch for the sake of watching, but it has no drive over anything that actually pulls you in.
For me, the only reason to watch it is because nothing else is available to me. Good to waste time, but it's not something to look farward to.

The tone is very different, the animation is lazier than shit that came out in the 90s, tries to hard to cash in on current trends in pop culture and animation.
