Just keep up the Guardians of the Galaxy feel and try to move it as far away from Snyder's BvS as they can. More 70s and 80s classic rock songs will help. People eat those up.

As a director, he's actually quite an approachable person. He's experienced enough to know that the behind the scenes boyos in HW would try and bank off the success of Deadpool making similar-feeling films and then end up ruining the image those movies were initially going to set b/c HW decided 'lets go with deadpools formula! Ranchy and funny and over the top" instead of the original thing. I mean SS was meant to be a dark-ish themed movie, and the only reason BvS failed was because Snyder is a fucking hack who can't write properly.
Gunn is a pretty good guy basically.
