With Bucky's innocence proven through Zemo's capture, Rogers surrenders to face the repercussions for his actions and preserve the Avengers, and is killed by Crossbones on Zemo's behalf while leaving the courthouse.
Zemo is locked up in the Raft by Stark as it's first prisoner, and claims that he was succesful in destroying Captain America.
