I think globe-trotting Nightwing is at least a more interesting idea than another repetition of Bludhaven/New York/Chicago, and I like Tim Seeley, but I'll still probably stay mad about losing Grayson for a while. It's not the same when he's Nightwing, which is the definition of comfy.
And Bruce and Dick used to be the perfect mentor-mentee relationship. So meh.

It can't be Grayson. I think something as simple as him now wearing a mask and not being able to see his face and expressions all the time drastically changes it from what Grayson was.
That being said Grayson has gone way downhill over the last several issues as it is rushing to a conclusion. Maybe it is best just to move on from it. Only thing I'm curious about is how they give him his secret identity back. Want to see how they pull that out of their ass, lol.

Only the last issue felt rushed, and that was due to a combination of fill-in writers + DC needing them to end the story soon. Wasn't the fault of the creative team.

It covered his eyes. He felt less restrained without the mask and being able to see his eyes really made the series have a different feel to it. I don't think you can capture it with him running around in his Nightwing costume.

I don't think the issue before it was much better. It's just a mess, imo. Spyral just feels like a mess of an idea and I don't know if I want them to continue to focus on it. Since it is disappointing now.

To me, the main difference is that Dick was put in an unfamiliar environment in Grayson, and was forced to deal with things he wasn't comfortable with, which made it interesting and challenged him as a character. If he's Nightwing again, that entire conflict isn't there anymore. I still trust Seeley, but I'll believe "It's Grayson in a costume" when I see it.

I'll admit I'm a BabsDickfag, and I feel like that would also be a more believable reason for Dick's kid to get into the family business.
That being said, would Dick even want his kid in the family business? I feel like no. That'd be an interesting, if cliched, plot device.
REALLY disappointed with the way Wildstorm was incorporated into Grayson. It all felt really anticlimactic. Probably due to the Robin War delay/Oncoming Rebirth. Hope Seeley does more with TAO and Grifter etc in this book.

I wish Dick could move on from both Starfire and Babs. Starfire fucked Roy so she is kind of ruined for good, and Babs seems just bitchy whenever her and Dick interact now. Shame these are his two main love interests.
I guess the Helena thing won't happen given the way things have gone in the Grayson series. They pretty much dropped the whole romantic tension plot with them.
