It feels like the artist really wants to avoid falling into sameface issues but isn't really skilled enough to do that well so you have very similar faces with awkward decisions that are supposed to differentiate them. Most aren't that bad, it's just Carol.

Yeah, it's weird that Patsy comes off as going through a midlife crisis in her book to the point that one of the characters even calls her out on it, yet it doesn't seem like that's Leth's intention at all.
It's so odd. Like, she's actually done decent set-up for a solid character study and drama there, but it seems like Leth is just going to pass that opportunity up so she can have more fluffy, non-threatening adventures with as little conflict as possible.
