Aw, beat me to it
Though my post would be more like
>it's a Dee Dee fucking shoots the birds episode
>>81551615
Is there even one of these- just one- that didn't end after an episode of ridiculously loud shit having the wake up noise be something really quiet caused by the character who spent the whole episode trying to prevent this?
>>81551615
>It's a body swap episode.
>The characters don't change voices and sound like their voice actors doing impressions.

I love those. It often forces an otherwise loud show to be super quiet and rely much more on visual gags.
>not liking Spongebob's ,Survival of the Idiots,

>>81559229Is that old or new PPG?
>>81560163
2004, you tell me.
2004. Season 5, post-movie. They just about ran out of ideas (it's a 'the Professor builds a talking car and the girls get jealous' episode, it's a 'that Spongebob episode with the cursing but the PPG instead' episode) but still stretched it out to a sixth somehow.
>It's a 11 minute horror-fest of the Ed-boys having fun in Rolf's shed. Why was "too smart for his own good" Ed-boy bent over "tiny angry baby" Ed-boy?
>>81555834
Sonic Boom
>>81560216
>>81560286
It's weird: although the animation's definitely mid-00s-CN and they kept the whole Fosters' aesthetic from the movie, there's the occasional moment where they goof up in a way the pre-movie PPG never did.
>>81560286
Also, the fart monster episode.
>>81560551
Uh
Didn't Craig say they had a policy to not use the profile-view of the girls' heads?
>>81561530
Craig had left by then.
That particular episode has Mojo turn up out of nowhere, and it's so obvious they don't have a side-view reference. He stands there and does his Mojo speech at Buttercup and Generic Shaolin Monk Stereotype shoulder-on.
...I mean OK, they're maybe experimenting with going a little off-model, but they're currently fighting a fart monster by inhaling it.Unsuccessfully, obviously.
The later PPG seasons deserve a thread of their own someday, they're so weird and offputting
>>81561754
>"Wow, where did you get that giant match?"

Really?

>that episode where a villain hypnotizes everyone in townsville to cry uncontrollably
>that episode where the girls keep wetting the bedbut it was really Mojo Jojo pouring water the sheets just for shits and giggles and accidentally pees on their bed from laughter
>>81557414
I think that was one of the few times Adventure Time made me laugh hard.
>>81563869
My favorite scene is the one where Jake shrinks himself to escape from a hole in the wall just to retreat from the spider that comes out from it.
Just watching that and I burst out laughing like an idiot.
>>81555834
Not /co/ but DBZ abridged
>it's an excessively detailed close-up gag
>>81564009
Yeah, that's a good one, too. It was probably my favorite episode of Adventure Time, along with the awkward little fish guys.
>>81551709
It's all about framing. Is it an episode based on a character running around to preserve silence successfully? Or is it another one of those

These are usually pretty fun. But sometimes the city folk turn into violent assholes who give the MCs shit they don't really deserve.
But usually, the MCs are the the reason they're like that in the first place.
