Once he finally runs Marvel, we will enter an era of Bendis continuity. As long as there's a franchise with a movie or TV show, it won't be safe from Bendis Continuity.
He's the future Editor-in-Chief of Marvel, and the other writers at Marvel know it. The ones that aren't with him are off doing Star Wars.

Yeah, I don't think people give Bendis enough credit for popularizing decompression. All else aside, that . Spreading Spider-man's origin out over 6 issues? Making it so he doesn't even get into the suit until halfway through them? Decompression was his bread and butter. People just keep attributing Bendisspeak to him because decompression has become so ubiquitous but he was known for popularizing decompression more than anything else around here during the 00s. Bendis' influence on the pacing of comic stories of the 00s is akin to Liefeld's influence on the aesthetics of costume design in the 90s. Yeah, people had done similar stuff before him and he's hardly the sole factor in the "90s look", but he's very much the person you point to for popularizing the style.
