I have sort of proto-voices for characters that, if I try to focus on their exact sound, shift and change to the point that there is no satisfying conclusion. There are exceptions to this; The Thing is pretty set in stone as an exaggerated Michael Chicklis, and Dr. Strange usually starts off as Dr. Orpheus until that becomes tiring, when he shifts into more of a Phantom Limb.
Magneto sounds like his VA in X-Men Legends. I actually don't voice Patrick Stewart as Xavier because he isn't British.

All the X-men sound like their 90s voice actors to me

I hear most of the Marvel side as their MvC3/EMH voices except in certain cases like Spider-Man the X-Men where if the comic is from the 90s I read it in the 90s cartoon VAs. The same applies to DC where I read the characters in their DCAU/Injustice voices however golden/silver age Batman is Adam West. Lobo is Danny Trejo and Deadpool is John Kassir.

I will always hear Atticus Finch when I read classic Superman.

I randomly heard Timothy Omundson's voice for Salaak's dialogue one day, and I was kinda surprised by how perfectly it fit (just throw a flange-like filter on it to make it more 'alien' sounding), but considering Sal is sort of the Lassiter to Guy's Shawn, it makes far more sense than it should.
