Fucks me up that The Flying Scotsman even counts as a 'returning' character. I'm not even that fond of it. I only got him for my model railway because he's mainstream enough to be the cheapest large engine you can get.

Thomas died when it went to cgi. The crashes arn't good like they were before, the plots are more kid centered unlike the ones when it wasn't. It just sin't a good show anymore.
>>
>>81493246
It died way before it went to CGI, and some life actually got breathed back into it some time after the CGI transition.

No, they're actually better because they can render a crash with more detail than they can with models.
>the plots are more kid centred unlike the ones when it wasn't.
Have you not seen season 17 and 18? They're the best seasons in years, and almost all of the episodes are just like the show was season 1-5.

Sharon Miller has stated that she designed the Shake Shake Bridge as a steel girder bridge that shook as engines crossed it, but was sturdy enough that it was still perfectly safe to use. This is probably what the Shake Shake Bridge originally looked like.

For whatever reason, some idiot in the animation department turned the bridge into the dilapidated and totally unusable trestle seen in the final product and the Trackmaster set.

The story purpose was the same in both versions, however in the Sharon Miller version the moral is facing one's fears, not doing mind-numbingly idiotic stunts as seen in the final product.

of course not goy; there are many shekels to be made after all.

Isn't this plot just Starlight Express?
>>
>>81514708
Seeing as how Starlight Express was a TTTE fanfiction, this only seems appropriate.

Canon Mad Bomber/Shed 17 style big-budget film when?

Just a reminder that Third Reich Mike Stoklasa was an extra in the cinematic Thomas the Tank Engine film.

Someone post the fucking webm.

STARLIGHT EXPRESS! STARLIGHT EXPRESS! STARLIGHT EXPRESS!

Are any of the other CGI Thomas specials any good?
>>
>>81517104
Some of them. Adventure Begins is a real strong one.

I also liked Blue Mountain Mystery, Hero of the Rails and Day of the Diesels to lesser and varying degrees.

Rest is garbo.

According to the Rules of The Internet,Rule 63's gender-swap art. Therefore, one can infer that Rule 75 refers to humanisation fanart.

I think that was Anon's way of saying "Well, at least you did a good job on her clothes", which in terms of responses to that drawing is tied with "I can see what you were trying to do, but I can also clearly see where you tried to hide your own shortcomings as an artist".

I'm tempted to give it another go, but I know I'll need more practice. I do honestly think I did a good job on what she's wearing
