first of, for many super heroes a fail in the middle of his powers won't kill him; even the Flash, depending on the situation. Second, my point is not simply "i'm using it and suddenly it fails" only. You wake up without it, you get hit with some power-taking rays, or you're simply overpowered. These are all situations that having a good physical aptitute may help you. That's why normally heroes wants to be in shape. It's not a rule, but she is an extreme case. I don't think it would bother me that much if she was just "a little fat" and just wants to help people some times, but her case is just too much. She can't do shit without her powers in a dangerous situation of any kind. It fails, she is dead. It makes me think of why even having a comic about her.

For heroes like Raven and Supergirl who aren't really fighters without their powers, there's not really much of a chance against 200 pound henchmen. People like Wonder Woman and Hawkgirl who are trained warriors might be a different story.
Like here, where Supergirl is immobile and powerless because of kryptonite. Because of the medium, typically nothing's going to happen to her beyond villain taunts and maybe being used to lure Superman in. Realistically though, she'd get raped to death.
There was even a panel in Final Crisis where Libra talked about running a rape train on Supergirl after Darkseid's conquest of Earth was finished.

Except for the fact that, you know, they don't sell Venom saying "Here, this is a disabled hero! We totally support disabled people!".
By now, being the "first plus-sized female superhero" it's her own selling point.
And given the current age, i'll be surprised if they don't start going full body acceptance movement and turn it into a "it's okay to be fat" message instead of just, you know, trying to tell a good story.

Nothing about the character in and of itself. Just what you wouldn't be surprised might happen, or how it is sold.

But when you take a character and give her gigantic luscious tits or put her in the most revealing outfit possible often it is the creator trying to rope in readers by giving them a sexy character they will find attractive. I got no issue with it. I love me some power girl and purple and white bathing suit she hulk (top fav alongside dr. strange) and though im cool with new captain marvel costume (except for that awful fucking helmet. that sucks) i miss the one piece with ass cleavage miss marvel suit.

When Raven, or Starfire, etc, lose their powers they still are in good shape, and have experience and combat training from other allies to at least pull something off.
When Faith gets into one of those situations shes going to have a stroke and trouble breathing and walking. Unless of course she gets beyond plot armour level bailouts constantly from the writer even if thats something as simple as an acceptable level of stamina.
Its just a bad formula from the get go.
Although not everyone needs to be a supermodel physique to be a hero.
Having the focus be someone with that kind of health problems sends a bad message even if its mixed with a lesser good message of loving yourself no matter what.
