I just discovered this gem on youtube, I don't know when it's from or what country it aired in, but it is fucking hilarious. By no means does it seem like a type of kids show, not that it's inappropriate at all but the humor is just so fast and I would imagine it'd go over kids heads. Is this what 80's British kids watched or something? If so, they have AMAZING taste.
>The Trap Door is a British animated television series, originally shown in the United Kingdom in 1984. The plot revolves around the daily lives and the misadventures of a group of monsters living in a castle. Although the emphasis was on humour and the show was marketed as a children's programme, it drew much from horror and dark fantasy. The show has since become a cult favourite and remains one of the most widely recognised family entertainment shows of the 1980s
British kids shows were HARDCORE.

Loved this as a kid. 80's cartoons in Britain were the best.

I'm gonna agree with the other guy, OP. I don't get what you see in this show's humour. It seems pretty standard-saturday-morning-cartoon-show humour to me.

h God, Knightmare. That's show we desperately need rebooted. With modern greenscreen and CGI the stuff they could do with the Knightmare premise could be fantastic.

Yup. I grew up watching it endlessly. It's pretty fun to watch when you're stoned as well.
>>81404518
British. We recently had little threads about it because one of the co-creators died.
I had forgotten that I watched it as a child, until the internet made me remember.
