Not spoilering but holy shit they love to take jabs at the fanbase. This wasn't even a clever prankTHAT would be making an entire episode in the old style and pretending it's back, only to have it be a dream of Krypto or G'nort., it was really just rubbing in a "Haha you'll never have this be canon suck it nerds".
Normally I enjoy the show since I don't get spammed with it 24/7 but this episode had me cringing a little.

This goes beyond a prank. It has exited the 'Funny' territory and it has entered 'Cruel' zone. I love to jab at the creepy TT fans every now and then, but this is like watching a knife assault be laughed off as a prank. The only laughter here is an awkward "I hope they don't go for me next" chuckle.
I don't get why you guys are still upset. The original show got five seasons. If you don't like Go, watch those.

At this point, they know that their ratings will be high no matter what they do.
So even if they spend whole episodes making fun of the adult fanbase, the kids will still watch it.
