The hurt never goes away. I mean, I watched it when it first came out, and even now, I sometimes take to /co/ to rant about how CN are ran by monkey's.
But let's face facts, it was way too expensive to produce. That's why they classed it as a commercial failure, so they could claim all the money they sank into it back on tax. The downside being that, by doing so, they agreed to never make money off of it again. Hense why no DVD release or reruns. Hell, we were lucky to get the Itunes release.

Me too. I think a lot of people don't recognize that it's the ending from a pretty upsetting concept album or if they do they take most shit surface level. That said, Cash's version is still fantastic and the music video always gets me.
