“Fandango is seeing 30% more repeat business for Batman v Superman than the company sees for a typical blockbuster,” said Fandango’s vice president of communications Dana Henry Benson, “and sales for the movie continue to be strong today.”

>>

"Repeat business" is kinda self explanatory
unless you're retarded.
>>
>marvelfags are so retarded they don't know what repeat business is

No wonder they didn't understand BvS
>>
>>81297261
>30% more repeat business for Batman v Superman than the company sees for a typical blockbuster

What was the repeat percentage on other superhero movies, preferably ones with higher budgets like BvS. Typical blockbuster doesn't really mean much.
>>
>>81297400
Please tell me you don't speak English
>>
I liked the movie but saying it was just misunderstood is just plain wrong. Its a good movie but it suffers so much from Eisenberg's Lex(I think he was a good actor but with terrible direction and script) and really hamfisted narrative (batman not killing superman because of martha was absolute putrid garbage no way around it)not to mention the total deflation of tension by wonder woman's slow crawl through her email in the middle of what should have been Superman and Batman fighting. In addition it was very badly and choppily edited and cut between too many characters when it really needed longer shots like the superman hearing that had decent tension in it and some very good acting by the senator from kentucky. I was very dissapointed by Snyder's cutting away so often and abruptly because I have never seen that in his movies before and have to assume he had to edit the film tremendously. All in all its about a 6-7/10 like most fans have scored it
>>
>>81297400
seeing the movie more than once
>>
>>81297261
Ya know I'm still having trouble understanding just what kino is? I googled it and still was a bit at a loss of what it's purpose is, is it just a form of story telling emphasizing on visuals to tell said story? I hate being that guy but could someone baby it for me?

Bullshit. How high was it for phantom menace.?

Because people tried to rewatch it several times trying to convince themselves it was a good movie.
>>
>>81298467
And Lucas laughed all the way to the bank.
>>
>>81297261
Bullshit

How many times it was for phantom menace? Because people watched it twice or more trying to deny it was a terrible movie.

The same thing happened to TFA [because autismal faggots wanted to convince themselves it was a terrible movie when it wasn't]

The movie is a hit man, the people love it. If anything WB is about to green light another half dozen DC films to add to their slate based on how this is doing.
>>
>>81298413

But I've seen Iron Man 1 and Gotg several times. I'd say Avengers 1 has bad rewatchability (pretty goat in theatres though) and the thor movies don't even have watchability.

This is going to sound sort of random for me to say but, where was Dan Amboyer in the film? His role simply said that he was just a drone pilot and i did not see him in the film at all, is he in the "R-rated" version of the movie or what? Is he going to play Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern?
>>

BVS is a comic book movie for people who actually read comic books so of course they'll want to see it twice so they don't have answer questions like "who is that"?, and "I thought Batman didn't kill"?

It means that the people most likely to buy tickets for BvS are people that have already seen it. This movie is being kept afloat by fanboys desperate for their team to "win".

>>81307103
Those reviews are mostly biased trash. Not all of them and the flaws they point out are valid but calling simething not fun is sloopy as hell reviewing and wouldnt be allowed anywhere but the internet. And this movie in no way shape or form deserves anything below a 4/10 and anyone who gives it that is a shitty reviewer.
Ebert liked it and he is literally one of the only reviewers I listen to anymore

I saw Age of Ultron last year and only saw it once. That is the mark of a generic and mediocre cape flick.

True cape kino needs to be seen more than once to truly appreciate it, and that's probably why the critics hated BVS while the audience is loving it.
>>
...I thought it was pretty good.
I also liked other cape flicks more.

That being said I'll probably be seeing this again, whereas I've only seen avengers stuff once.
All the jokes and shit get stale on repeat viewings maybe?
