A tripanon got a reco for tmnt comics but it needs to be updated. I can recommend you to read IDW tmnt. It's really good and it's a reboot so you don't need to read everything published before.

For the old stuff, Mirage volume 1 & 2. Volume 4 is unfinished and some don't like it. The spin off called Tales of TMNT volumes 1 & 2 are interesting. Image (volume 3) got its fans but it's really particular. Archie is fun, corny in the beginning but became good after. If you want to know more about tmnt comics go to tmntentity.blogspot.
