Favorite character and why?
my favoriet character is a animal
Bellwether. She's adorable and she's the lamb with the masterplan.
Bogo
He's so fucking snappy to Judys optimism and plays the stressed authority figure so well. Idris Elba has a sexy voice.
Judy.
Because I want to take a poop on her chest.
Nick. He's like a cooler version of myself.
>>81221356
I wish I was as cool as Nick but I think I'm probably more like Flash.
This fella. Not only is he cute, but he is a tough son of a gun.
>>81221935
I want him toloveme
>>81221963
We both now that as much as we would love that, he is 99.9% likely straight.
>>81222126
When're we gonna get to see the seedy parts of Zootopia?
>>81222126
He's got a shag wagon and I don't think gay men are into those.
>>81222252
Sequel, or TV show(if it happens). Maybe spin-off with Nick and Finnick(or just Finnick) taking place while doing one last hustle together before Nick becomes a cop, or even sometime before Judy came to Zootopia.
So why aren't there birds fish or reptiles in Zootopia?
Are they in other parts of the world or did they not evolve?
If they do exist I think there's some good shit they could do for sequels, maybe reptiles from another country with diplomatic immunity in Zootopia or something
>>81222518
The people working on Zootopia found some difficulty having every single animal be anthropomorphic, so they just stuck with mammals for now. They did say they are thinking of adding/developing birds and reptiles in the world of Zootopia if a sequel is greenlight.
Also, I don't think having talking fish would be a good idea. I mean, the diet of a typical predator/omnivore is already small as it is.

>>81222617

birds would be cool too
>>81222518
They wanted the movie to focus on the prejudice between predators and preys and throwing in birds and lizards into the mix would kinda screw up the thing that they had going on between mammals due to the lack of range in either of the former groups.

this movie already reached almost 2 hours, I don't think it felt too fast. It paced perfectlyalthough Bellwether reveal can give more time to established her motive
Clawhauser. He brightened every scene then saw him crushed. Then when the prey animal officers bring him donuts you really feel the reward of the happy ending.

Since you mercifully didn't point out my typo, I'll give you a paragraph:
Clawhauser is the type of guy who loves his job. He loves seeing you there and makes it feel more like a family. At the same time, he embodies the timely workplace problem millennialist bring like cellphone usage as work but it also highlights the hypocrisy of the older higher ups when we see Bogo dicking around with the app. Clawhauser adds a layer of depth to Bogo in the same way he helps us see how PC Judy is since he'd be the only one who could call her cute in that unintentionally demeaning way. He embodies serval stereotypes while breaking the genetic mold, showing us that in Zootopia, you can be anything... even a slow cheetah.
We see a lot of predators take shady jobs (mafia muscle, paramilitary, con artist, politician) but we know that Clawhauser is the least shady character. This juxtaposition makes him more endearing.
>>81226939

She's also thecutest.
>>81227296
>Clawhauser is the type of guy who loves his job.
Yet he's terrible at it.
>He loves seeing you there and makes it feel more like a family.
"Look at this stupid cute bunny thinking she has what it takes to be a cop. She's gonna get eaten alive"
>At the same time, he embodies the timely workplace problem millennialist bring like cellphone usage as work but it also highlights the hypocrisy of the older higher ups when we see Bogo dicking around with the app.
That's not a good thing.
Being a fatty isn't an appealing trait, nor is casual racism.
>We see a lot of predators take shady jobs (mafia muscle, paramilitary, con artist, politician) but we know that Clawhauser is the least shady character. This juxtaposition makes him more endearing
What about all the other predator cops that are actually good at their job?
>>81227338
I'm not sure what to make of that look on Bogo's face but I love it. It's a cross between "my little secretary can't be this cute" and "how does this even happen?"

To your first point:
He's doing something right. After he got moved to records, they could have kept him there or just given him someone to work with. Instead he's back to doing two jobs at once by himself and the coworkers seem to like seeing him there.
Everything else I'm not going to respond to because the bait isn't as delicious.
>>81227497
His early design gave him some grey around the mouth. Maybe he's a halfbreed.
>>81227391
>Yet he's terrible at it.
where is he shown to be overly bad at his job, exactly?
He's the front desk officer and the dispatcher all at once, his only real flub is having the radio on mute.

>Why is this ship even a thing?
At the end in the concert scene they are shown dancing together.
Post moar Judy. The current conversation is boring. No one cares about side characters anyways.
>>81227597
I don't even think it was a mistake to have it on mute; receptionists need to deal with people in front of them without hearing "OH GOD THERES SO MUCH BLOOD!" I mostly chalk it up to poor management of the ZPD.
It looks like there weren't even outreach programs until the end of the movie, if the nice little details in the bullpen are any indication.

Comparatively, BVS opened at 20 million USD.

It reminds them of another Korean story they liked.
I love the movie, but one of the things that keeps it from being 10/10 is the final act. To me, it wasn't too rushed or too predictable; we had our full of chase scenes this whole movie and solving the rest of the mystery quickly kind of felt like a satisfying crunch. The hints were there but so was misdirection, making seeing the movie a second time all the more enjoyable.
What got me was the final exchange with Bellwether and how, all at once, characters forget the meaning of the words "dart" "serum" and "frame." It's as if they left in the lines from the old script.
If you people are so obsessed with a movie, just get something 3D printed

The only one thing that keeps annoying me about this film is how quickly Bellweather was resolved. I like how subtly they'd built up her characters (IE repeating about being for the little guy) only for her to just be immediately bad and have her entire motivation and plan summed up in one line. Like, seriously if they'd had even one extra minute of dialogue where she establishes, I dunno, being harassed by predators all the way up the political field even until now, where she had so much power but still got bullied by Lionheart and you could draw parallels with Judy's story I would be so much more content with it.
