Let's talk about this movie, /co/.
What do you hope to see in the sequel?
The plot of Lethal Weapon 2 but with talking animals.
Also shipping I guess
>>81200829
tough to say, they did such a good world building that it's kind of hard to conceptualize how to go further without rehashing.
that's the curse of a really good first movie is you have to double the quality to be on-par in the sequel.
if we get a sequel keep the mystery stuff but switch to some different characters, also pick a non-racism metaphore

>>81200829
I want to see more of the other districts in Zootopia. We only caught glimpses of each and I would love to see more. Also, see any other locations around Zootopia.
Also, the two main characters not hooking up. I really like them just as buddies/best buddies more than anything.
>>81200932
how does this even work
different fucking genetics
holy fuck imagine the blood banks and surgeons? you'd need like, 100x the amount of specialists we have now adays and blood sources and organ donors etc.
BIOLOGICALLY THIS PLACE IS A NIGHTMARE OF LOGISTICS
>>81200829
I'm not sure actually. All I really want is aBellweather cameo when they put the perp away.

Cheers, cunts.

Life goes on. I was able to wait 14 years to see a t-rex finally claim its throne back and kick another big-ass dinosaur ass; I can wait half a decade for zootopia.

Those are Judy's siblings theatre fawning over him, not their children you slapnut.

Those are just Judy's siblings.

Doesnt change the point: Hospitals would be a nightmare.

Anyway you bunch of gays the other NYPD guy who posted last was fake but I'm back.
Being messing around on a site where some guys I know get extra uniforms and equipment from and it has its own make your own bage thing so I thought I would give it ago.
What you think?
>>81201462
From the military, a piece of cake, you have a better chance of getting hired by that alone. The biggest thing you need is people skills, you have those, youre golden. Follow up on applications, too. It can take some time. I applied for my department back in october and just started in February.

>What do you hope to see in the sequel?
Zootopia wrapped up perfectly. There is no need for a sequel. Zootopia was great, and now it's time to wait for Moana and Gigantic. I want Walt Disney Animation Studios to not be flooded with sequels but continue to make new, original movies.
>>81201188
If she does appear in the sequel, I want a scene of this. It would be too good to pass this up.
something thats like a metaphor for drug abuse and drug smuggling and judy as to go undercover as a prostitute
>>81200829
A Psycho Pass crossover would be sweet tbqh
>>81201938
Moana is probably not going to do as well in international markets. About the same as Frog Princess.

>>81201956
>>81201956
A single reference to this would have been better than any of the multiple frozen references they did.
>>81201992
It's gonna end up being Pocahontas to Zootopia's 'Lion King'.
The 'B' movie that Disney underestimated and, therefore, had less executive meddling in ends up the critical and audience darling while the supposed 'A' film that Disney puts all of their executive control into will probably end up a bland mess of a film that people forget in favor of the 'B' movie.
That Zootopia features talking animals and Moana features a more 'ethnic' princess only adds to this speculation.
>>81202057
Very high doubt on the last option. That's just my opinion, though. I would figure the writers would want to use a new antagonist(s) for the sequel
>>81200829
i am torn, on one hand i want a sequel but on the other hand i think the world of Zootopia doesn't give a another story.
>>81202208
>multiple Frozen references
There was only the 'Let it Go' quote from Bogo, and the pirated DVD's (and even that was all of Disney's newer films).
Was there something else I missed?

No major overarching plot, no major villain. Just the life and times, both police and civilian, of two rookies as they gradually learn more about eachother and reveal their own strengths and weaknesses along the way.
Though, two hours of slice of life probably wouldn't do very well, would it?

Depends on the school, the one i went to there was a 2-year associates program that enveloped a broad spectrum of criminal justice (corrections, fish and game, State and tribal) then after that there was a 720 hr academy.
It can be anywhere from 2-5 years.
>>81202528
I have heard a lot of good things about safariland, a lot of guys here use bianchi and praise it like the second coming. Department requires a nylon look though. Will shop around

>>81202727
>nylon
Christ really? My farther always said nylon was military and leather was Law enforcement.
Why nylon anyway? It's not one of those department that has over weight swat guys wearing mismatch camo within city limits is it?
On a serious note I would suggest looking at a level III Safariland retention holster served me well for years. Does the whole belt have to be nylon or can the holster be leather?

Everyone pays there dues as a beat cop but as your a veteran of the United States military you do not have to pay for your police exam and the NYPD has a hardon for vets as well.
We did just employ an extra nine-hundred counter terrorism officer in our brand new crisis intervention team (CIT)
As long as New York City is New York City it will always need police officers and counter terrorism officers.
>>81203407
Thanks for making the request, anon.

Yeah let's absolutely rape the look and feel of Zootopia by having to comform to a 22 minute budget and screw the character development over with shit stories.

>>81203257

I think the city was looking for a "modern look" whe they decided nylon. I still have no idea why, considering basketweave looks sexy asf. I think the whole setup needs to be nylon or a nylon look. Its really stupid but rules are rules i guess. As far as holsters go we have a dept issued blackhawk serpa level 2, anything besides that we have to buh ourselves but still needs to be nylon or nylon look.
>>81203078
Idk about the military transition, i came from the civilian side. As far as counter terrorism, again i dont know, all we have is a swat team and we share that with the county sheriff. As far parking duty goes, it doesnt suck that bad, 9 times out of 10 its just an addition to foot patrol. And theres no quota or anything (at least that i know of) if someone is parked like a dick, im probobly gojng to warn them first. You dont want to be "that cop" especially in a small city like mine
>>81203503

It's kinda weird that, despite Zootopia clearly being a very large sprawling city, we've got a natural history museum, stadium, city hall, police department, and train station all in the same central plaza area. The cities I've lived have those spread out by at least a few blocks.
>>81200829

Most training for counter terrorism falls under the umbrella of opspec I'm afraid but most people who apply burn out quickly or find out that it really isn't for them.
It's just like military boot camp where most of it is in your head and how hard you can push yourself and having the right mentality etc.
But once your in it makes all the shit worth it, normally you have to be a beat cop for around four to six years before you can even apply for. Special unit like the ESU.
But if you enjoy the job it doesn't really matter.

What I do wish is that Disney would start making animated movies specifically for adults. Even if it's b-team, it'd still be fine.

Sorry I didn't make it clear ESU and counter terrorism and two different departments.
To be honest you would be sought after but I haven't heard of anyone getting a waver to get in but I don't think so as being a counter terrorism officer is about being a police officer as hunting terrorists.
But if you did join and had that on your record it would give you a set up from the others.

That triggers /k/ every time they read about it. They've known about it for years and they still don't understand it.

My god, ours are the standard 5.5 lb
Do you guys have anything in the squads?
We have a M&P 15-22 and a Remington 870, but we only use the Remington for bears

How long until Disney releases a Zootopia version of "Every Sperm is Sacred"?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fUspLVStPbk
I think it would be interesting if in the sequel they have to visit another animal city - Reptile City - in order to solve a crime that was done in cold blood.
>>81203878
Second here
>>81205473
>done in cold blood
HA. HA.
>>81205473

one is done involuntary and other other is a conscious choice. plus, if i remember right, the clergy thought that the pain that a period caused was god punishing the wimminz for original sin or something.
>>81205785
Episode 11: Nick and Judy come back from watching a baseball game only to find a savage

When it blows up there, will Japan be able to make a MAD with Zootopia characters replaces the PP ones in the CAUSE I FEEL OP?
>>81205785
>>81205822
Hmm having the show take place during the timeskip before the final scene is actually a good idea.
>>81205785
>>81205822
Just seems a little slow for plots. Also, didn't Nick already become a cop
>>81205785
>>81205822
These are pretty good desu
>>81205822
sounds good to me
>>81205822
>Nick's mother
Instead of a sequel movie it should be a TV show where it centered around high schoolers. And humans

Get this heretical shit away

ah okay cheers man!
Have a sad zootopia strip for the help!
>>81200829
I don't want a "2".
I want this movie to go down as a timeless classic in its own right. No milking, just greatness.
>>81206842
The thing about this movie is that they showed so much, but only for a little. It'll be nice to see how more areas in this vast world would play out
>>81206827IT'S JUST A PRANK BRO!
>>81206842
One of the directors said on Twitter this morning people will be happy WHEN a sequel is announced, not if.
>>81206827
Fuck i want an anime spinoff so bad now
>>81206363
Got one more sad one i think
Also two funny ones
>>81205822
>>81205785
These are rather plodding and boring, and Judy's done nothing to really get a medal of valor.
>>81204155
MAMMALMACHINES BUNN, YOU CAN'T HURT ME JUDE
I really want to see a Police Academy style movie that's just about Nick's time at the academy. Maybe he gets in at first thinking its a cake walk and he'll sail through. But then he starts to run into trouble and wonders if he's good enough and is afraid of letting Judy down. Maybe he even tries to get himself thrown out because he figures that would be easier on Judy than him just dropping out (shifty foxes will be shifty foxes). But of course, his new friends turn him around and some big crisis happens in which he saves the day and gets that final push to get his badge.Michael Winslow cameo as animal plz
>>81207226
No, but the engrish is.

Have you ever watched Robin Hood.
Might be right down your alley.

Oh holy shit
also that file name
>>81203503
>by having to conform to a 22 minute budget and screw the character development over with shit stories.
>that double twist
Didn't see it coming but it was pretty good.
Only things that bothered me were nitpicks about the world itself. Why did Judy get off the train from the huge door rather than the smaller door she boarded? And why do all the rail lines in the city only go one-way?
>>81208086
Please imply me desu senpai
>>81208179clothes
love you, boo
Drawing anon here seeking inspiration. There any blu-ray disney release movies i can watch thatll inspire me half as much as zootopia has?
>>81208179
>you did that yourself. and I didn't complain...
>they both smug smile
>>81207817
Question about going feral I was confused about watching the movie. Was it just a mental thing or did those affected actually have their bodies change physically?capcha pies... Damnit Gideon
>>81208283
I think 'lost' is pretty good. It's on netflix
Less fucking Furries
Damn mods you scary!
>>81208369
>>81208335
the biggest physical change that we see isManchas' eyes going from round pupils to oval cat ones.
it's a major hint for the end thatNick is pretending, since his eyes don't do the same.
>>81208335
Gideon's pies transcend the boundaries of fiction and reality.
>>81208426
>Sequel has these scenes together
>Implies but never states that, yes, they're living together
>>81208453
yeah when I first saw the movieI thought they had sloppily missed an established thing and I was ready to call them out for inconsistency
>>81208453
Well, even so, that wouldn't necessarily mean anything. If I recall, Otterton's didn't, and as Nick is not a feline, it's totally possible that his wouldn't.
>>81207817
sorry the image was supposed to be flipped
>>81208498
Perfect.
But putting your feet in a sink seems pretty gross, to be quite honest--people spit in those things.
>>81208179
The fuck mods?
>>81208902
Naked animals are triggering.
