How do I get into Gumball?
Any notable episodes? Ones to avoid?
Dive right into season 2 as the first is mostly filler mediocre eps. season 3 is where it gets rly good.
I would recommend starting with season 1, but if you find that you don't like it then skip to Season 2 because a lot of shit changes.

They are small enough episodes that even if there is a flop, in your opinion, you can work right through it.
Personally I think the earlier stuff had more punch. Some people like to bitch that it shat on gumbo too much but honestly, it's a comedy, those people need to chill out.
S2 is the most distinct from S1 so it's polarising. From S3 onward it's in both animation and comedy somewhere between the two initial seasons.

I watched them essentially randomly and there were a few things I missed. It is mostly though so you wouldn't have much issue going through it randomly.

Considering each episode is only 10 minutes, I can't really think of any shit tier episodes really. There's a lot of good standouts, The Safety, The Hug, The Others, The Fridge, The Sweaters just off the top of my head but you'll find these yourself really.
As anons have said, try starting with S1, but if you don't like it, try S2 because it does change quite a bit. Even S2 to S3 is quite different so even if you don't find S2 completely to your liking it's worth trying S3.
S4 is sort of a mix between S2 and S3
It's not really a hard show to "get into" considering it's episiodic, has little continuity and generally just does shit for a laugh
