Generals are accepted when the thing in question is on going, and currently getting new content.
Star Wars Rebels is a thing that is being shown on TV. new episodes come in every other week or so, or something, I don't keep up with it.
Without new content, threads of things that have no new content need to be made with a topic or purpose, general threads lack these things, they're just mindless posting with no direction.
So make your thread with a topic, have a reason to make it. And don't call it a fucking general.

I'm glad /co/ convinced me to finally go out and watch this. Enjoyed it very much but was still a terrible mistake of going out to see a FAMILY MOVIE.

>>81073381
even though you're a fox?
I think it's possible Zootopia can still be no 1. this weekend. Hear me out.
For starters let's start with the rating; RT has gained a certain amount of trust with the public over recent years and some movies and lived and died by it. If a film gets less than desirable ratings it will affect its revenue as shown with movies like Fan4stic which grossed far less than it was expected to, not to mention MoS was already divisive among general audiences. Second thing to take into account is it's a holiday weekend sorta. Now that may sound like it tips the scales to BvS's favor, but the thing is majority of people don't go to the grim and gritty films on days meant to express goodness and such as such they're much more inclined to gravitate towards what they deem more colorful and "lighthearted" fare, also rabbits are deemed "Eastery" so there's that, the film Grindhouse opened on that year's Easter weekend and under-preformed because of it.
Now I could be completely off the mark on this, but I feel like it's worth sharing regardless.
>>81073110

So you're saying "don't make it a romance movie" ? I obviously agee, and it's obviously not going to be. Romance movies suck ass anyway, it's going to be more adventure hijinks, they just happen to be together. If anything that makes it even more serious when something happens to one another in the film. You don't want your literal waifu/husbando to be hurt or go through unpleasant shit, so it adds to that if something really bad happens to either one (which will happen). Not that you'd want your friend to be hurt, either, but you get the idea. Gotta protect your hunny bunny and Nick already stepped up to the plate against Bogo in the first film, so he's got the chops for it.

Eh, the fact that she's family to the biggest crime boss in Zootopia and has zero problems asking him to threaten a person of interest's life to help her case, I think she's wolf-enough already.
>>81074840
Lol, if they're spotted hyenas I don't think the guys would have a say anyway.

Chinkreaders, you are needed!
>>81074885
Got damn, the way they are looking at each other.
>>81074885
It's nice to see him genuinely happy. He just drops all the smug for that moment and lets Judy know how proud he is to work with her.
man, can you just imagine the Moana team's faces with the pressure that the B team put on them?
>>81074741
Well, let's just say I am really far behind in movie-watching, and I am very disconnected from what happens in everyday life events.
Also, how far behind? I haven't seen RoboCop, any of Clint Eastwood's movies, or even seen a Bind film. And don't get me started on Disney films.
>>81074842
It depends on how good Moana is and how well it is received.
It's basically fucked because it either needs a catchier than Frozens or writing objectively better on every level than Zootopias.
Which who knows, it might, but my gut is telling me don't count out on it, and that Disney will take the message of "Disney Princess who aren't white don't sell"
I mean, Moana needs a fucking nuclear reception if it wants Disney to pick it over Zootopia, because Zootopia is a fucking never ending pool of merchandise.

>mfw a chink fan of mine offered to make a translation of my story in Mandarin

Fuck. Seeing this always makes me happy. I'm so proud of him.
>>81074982
I meant to say Bond film, as in James Bond.

First off, and I don't think this needs to be said but I'll mention it anyway: It can't be overstated how insanely cute this movie is. It's especially apparent when looking at small clips like this.
Also,
>that lingering look Judy gives Nick after pinning his badge but before she salutes
I finally understand what people mean when they talk about shipping goggles. I seriously feel like I'm seeing a romantic moment on screen. Even if I didn't feel like that the first time I watched it in theaters...

Not just to work with her, that's his real personality showing through. The little kit that wanted to be a Junior Scout never really died; the smug conman was just a mask he wore for 20 some-odd years. He's finally living the dream.

Steven Universe generals aren't bad
People here have that missconception because they think that every person that watches that show is a tumblrina, but that's like saying that every person that enjoys zootopia is necesarily a furry
>>81074670
no. absolutely not. do not tarnish my husband.
Just got back from seeing it, wow. I thought it looked good in the youtube trailers, but watching it in a not super compressed video makes such a difference. The part where Nick had Judy by the throat honestly made me let out a little gasp.Well done Disney.
>>81073754
Well here is a new question to open up some discussion, when Juddy is on the internet what kind of sites does she visit and what kind of stuff does she like doing there?

Hardcore carrot porn.
