Just saw this movie today.
I really enjoyed the originality Disney came up with in order to have some surprisingly darker moments, which to my surprise actually caused the parents in the theater to look uncomfortable, considering this movie's message.
However, my main issue was that Bellwether's reveal asthe real villainfelt very rushed, and this made me pretty disappointed, seeing as it had potential to be much greater.
Also, another significant issue wasNO FUCKING REPTILES FUCK YOU DISNEY AND FUCK NORMALFAGS HATING MY HERPS

I really liked Zootopia (just got out of it a few hours ago) but in all honesty it felt more like several episodes of a tv show mashed together, than a movie. The pacing, especially towards the end, was more in line with what Disney does on their shows instead of movies.

Thinking about how alone Nick must have felt after the incident brings me close to being a blubbering mess.
Nick had never had any close friends. He may have been consistently picked on at school for being a fox and was never able to get along with the other predators. He thought that joining the scouts was his shot at a belonging he hadn't felt all his life. These were the first time he thought he had friends that he truly trusted, and he had it thrown back in his face.
Afterwards, to avoid disappointing his mother, he pretends to go to scouts meetings and makes up stories about his adventures with his "friends." He perfects the art of lying - of conning. Eventually, he begins drifting towards the wrong crowd and ends up with in a crew with Finnick.
I love it when movies create implied narratives that are sadder than the narratives that they give on-screen.
