The Red Shirt Trilogy is worth watching at least once. Each one brings something different to the table. The tetralogy (Zombie, Witch, Invaders, Cyber) that started the 1-movie-a-year format is also great.
The movies where they are dressed in their What's New clothes can largely be ignored. There not terrible; they just feel like longer episodes from the series rather than movies because the mysteries aren't particularly memorable.
Things pick up steam once they ditch the What's New style, beginning with Abracadabra-Doo through present. They all have something different to offer, with varying tones, themes, and gimmicks.
The best of that bunch are probably Camp Scare, Frankencreepy, Wrestlemania, and Rock and Roll.

Forgot to mention Rock and Roll is a lot better if you're familiar with the KISS movie it is parodying, Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park. A lot of anons not familiar with KISS think they just gave KISS arbitrary super powers without realizing the they're based on an obscure movie.
