They already fucked up Harley Quinn (Harley's defining damage is Stockholm Syndrome, not psychosis), Jared Leto has no fucking idea what Joker is really about and is just trying to out-edge Ledger, and Will Smith seems to be playing Stock Will Smith Character, all other characters will probably get killed off quickly and those three will remain to carry the entire film - speaking of which, this entire "dark and mature" movie has PG-13 rating.
I hope it will be good, but being realistic? I doubt it.

Ledger wasn't even that edgy. Wasn't as sadistic as Nicholson nor as silly as the first Joker. He wasn't quite in the middle but at least he sold that everything was a joke to himself.
