I mean, I don't think it will but I really hope it won't. It's got a good director, it's hitting an angle no cape movie has really done so far, it's starring (and faithfully depicting) some of my favourite DC characters. It seems foolish to rate a movie on a trailer but the main trailer for Suicide Squad was so nicely edited and put together that it gave me a lot of hope for the movie. And I'm a major Ostrander SS fan so you know, it's crazy great to see them on the big screen in some form or another.
I'd love it to be a big success because it'd mean sequels and I would love to see characters like Nightshade, Nemesis and Bronze Tiger in a professional Hollywood release. I have no time for Zack Snyder in any of his films and I'm glad this is mostly separate from his vision for the DCEU. I think less pressure, and lower expectations, will ultimate produce a better and budget-to-budget more successful film.

It looks a lot better then BvS, but It will probably be the lowest grossing Cape film of 2016. I could be surprised though, I didn't think Deadpool would do nearly was well as it did.

I want to see it succeed to see other villains I feel like I would never see in live action get a chance to shine. That's about it though. I know marketing wise you have to or it's a good idea to put in the current popular characters but In group shit I always want to see the original team start things out.
