The entire season was a 9/10 for me.
Only the last weeks episode was somewhat weak and today's episode didn't feel like a season finale BUT it was a damn good episode, the rest of the season was absolutely amazing.

Overall that was an amazing season, there was some good backstory stuff like finally showing how Gary got kidnapped by the Monarch. The development with Dean was pretty meh, but Hank and Wide Wale's daughter was perfect I loved their date.
Every episode was a 10/10 in my opinion. The finale was 20/10 because for the first time I watched it live with you guys.

Last week's episode felt rushed with the cutaways, and this week's did nothing at all to conclude any of the subplots that were going on. On top of that, both episodes weren't all that funny. The first 6 of the season were some of my favorites though, it's so weird.

IMO Blue Morpho is pretty much the only actually good thing about this season. Everything else was pretty meh. It was a good overarching narrative, but I miss the days when we were able to get a really solid episode that was just a standalone adventure.

I know it's not the popular opinion but I really think the need to have an overarching story with the Blue Morpho really didn't go anywhere. The monarch really was 60% of the entire season by himself and the antics of Kano and the Blue Morpho were basically the exact same series of wacky hijinks stretched across seven episodes. There was really no payoff for and I really think it detracted from the general funny dumb bullshit that happens over the course of a season.
You compare it to other seasons without any big plot going on and with that episodic narrative Doc Hammer makes some pretty funny shit.
It's not that I hated the Blue Morpho stuff or emphasis on The Monarch but I'm trying to imagine this season without it and replaced with a one off adventures like Everybody Comes to Hank's or O.S.I. Love You and I'm seeing a funnier season for me.

-Rusty accidentally killing Monarch or vice versa
-complete end of the whole arching lifestyle through some kind of anticlimactic agreement
-Hank or Dean becoming some kind of bizarre hero or villain and having some showdown which more closely resembles whining
-Jonas Sr. being revealed to have died in an an irrelevant way which changes nothing about the context of the Ventureverse

Was anyone else glad with how chill Phantom Limb was? I cant have been the only one who expected him to immediately start getting vengeful and resentful towards Monarch and Sheila but he feels like a much better character for having moved on
I do think the last 2 episodes would have benefited even more by switching the airing order. Doc and Publick said there were some issues that prevented it, but I'm not sure what it could have been. Just make DMtM more certain in shooting Rusty as Blue Morpho and it works.
