Yeah he's good, people like him because he's good and wrote some pretty good character focused stories. Simonson is also really good I mean I can understand why >>80940760 likes Ostrander's Manhunter over the stuff Simonson and Goodwin did, but that said Simonson's work on Manhunter and Orion have some amazing paneling and fight layouts.

DeMatteis' Spectre run with Hal as the Spectre is pretty great too, but in a different way. Ostrander focuses on a very western Judeo-Christian theology in examining the Problem of Evil, and DeMatteis takes a more cosmic, Eastern spirituality take on it.
