With the internet, it's a "chicken or the egg" sort of issue. When people see a relatively-normal LPer start to get more and more feminine as time goes on until it gets to full-on transition mode, it's possible to correlate the site they use to their "recent" decision to transition. They could have been considering transitioning for years before even starting LPs, and people will still be surprised.
