Honestly, I'd never heard of that word before (just looked it up) but that's definitely what I'd describe, looking at that image. His pose just feels so bizarrely stiff and lifeless, and it really comes down to the fact that his body is poker-straight while his arms are pointed forward. The X through the image isn't indicating that the LOA is drawn incorrectly, but that the position of the character doesn't compliment a good LOA because the action doesn't follow through with the body positioning. The left image makes Mojo look cool and dynamic (because he's hefting a giant gun while his entire stance is in motion) while also making him funny (the gun is bigger than he is, he's got a big goofy grin). Meanwhile, the right image is neither cool nor funny; he's not in any kind of pose, the gun is generic, and his expression is lifeless. It's not like the left image is perfect, but there is some imagination and love put into it. The right is just "neutral model sheet pose, shift the arms up a bit, give the head a frowny face, grab the first Google Image Search result for 'laser gun', then drag and drop."

they teach them what they know of course, the problem is that none of the teachers are masters of their craft. good drawings are no longer valued in the calarts world, and CN is just a byproduct of that.
simply put, they are being taught bad animation by bad artists. the cycle continues until someone good who is willing to sacrifice their creative career to save the future of others goes there and starts to instill the foundations of animation that have long since been abandoned in American TV animation. they should probably bring some friends, too.

Okay so, like, this is a reboot right? But like at the same time it's supposed to be aimed a new audience, specifically instead of being a show for all ages like the original, this is solely being aimed at the 4-11(allegedly only female)demographic? It's half-assed This entire reboot is half-assed and cheap.
-It brings back all the old voice actors, but never even contacted the original VAs for the girls (because they're too expensive probably)
-It keeps the same character aesthetic but essentially removes the thick lines and angles
-It has some familiar things but makes weird changes that don't make sense (Octy is still around but doesn't have a hat, the girls don't have a hotline but get phone calls, the house is the same but the scale is completely fucked, they only remember the announcer says "so once again the day is saved" in one episode and they even get that wrong, etc)
-The animation thinks it's being like the original but is actually dogshit
It literally makes no sense. It wants to be a reboot of a classic series and keep the things older fans remember in it but also do it's own thing while completely shutting out said older fans and only target one specific demographic. It's completely retarded.
I mean isn't one of the defenses for nuPPG that "It's for a new audience, not for manchildren" but the first episode of the show plays out like the audience is supposed to fucking know who everybody is. It doesn't even have the origin story, so clearly, they were making this with the idea people would know that the PPG were a thing even though the show ended over a decade ago.
