It's not a huge departure from S1, but it does shake things up a bit.

i feel that season two is much better than season one. while season one was great, season two has a lot more different types of episodes.
It's also great to see characters change and interact with each other differently. All of that on top of seeing old characters return, seeing new and interesting characters shake up the status quo, and tons of references to 80's cartoons, season two is a ton of fun
