Something tells me the animation of the show isn't going to hold forever as it airs.

Adventure Time and Regular Show had their start simple, and had slick animation just like this, where somethings were animated with Gradient (like the blankets and curtains in this show) but after a few seasons, everything got more stiff and "limited" looking.

Anyone get what I mean? It's hard to explain, but both shows had it and subsequently lost it. I think it was just that it was fine for the start but it started becoming easier to produce (or less costly) to do it that way.

I really hope we don't loose the gradient animations, it's part of why this show is comfy, it feels more settled instead of a plain colored shower curtain moving.
>>
>>80748551
I think it has to do with the network trying to keep costs down by cutting corners in animation
>>
>>80748621
Mhm.

I forgot to add, it was more loose in earlier seasons. Where if a character was raising their arms fast, it would flail and bend as it went, and in RS' case at points, like Mordecai's arm, it would go up more smoothly instead of like 4 frames

>inb4 RS sucks
>inb4 post the wedding scene

I just hope this show keeps it going. I think if we get a Season 3 we should be keeping an eye on it, but Season 4 is where both shows kinda lost it (maybe, it was sometime around it) and that's far off for WBB if it gets that far at all.
>>
>>80748723
I've been reading a lot of stuff in the speculation of what's behind Wander Over Yonder's cancellation, and one of the rumors I have heard is that when a show goes into a third season the company is obligated to give the crew a pay raise. Do you know if that's true? You seem pretty knowledgeable on this stuff
>>
>>80748809
Hey man that's real nice. I do have some knowledge about this stuff, but it's mostly self-learned, not experience by the way.

Some channels do, it's more or less about the situation. I think there's things that qualify and some don't. Like a 3rd season of a live action sitcom might not influence a pay raise, but cartoons could. Then there's things where SOME sitcoms do and some don't. I think it depends on the factor of how popular it is, inside work like the conditions, animation type (flash, regular drawn, CG...) and all that, so it's pretty confusing. As far as I know, Nickelodeon, Disney, and Cartoon Network don't all just have that rule, there's a bunch of situations where it works out and it doesn't.

I think Craig would have to talk about that if he ever got the chance, but the main story right now is Disney said 80 episodes was enough (and that just sounds so weird coming from a network, especially since the next season would have continued to have potential and not just reverting to forced stories)

So.. I do know that stuff, but since nothing has been said and I don't work on the show, I can't say. There might be a way to find something out like that from a Disney interview or some behind the scenes thing to see what category Wander is in, but that'd be really hard to do.

Sorry man, wish I could give a definite answer. Craig (if not under some contractual obligation of silence or secrecy) could always be asked on his Twitter, but even if it was true he could still turn it down and play the "80 was enough" card again.
>>

>>
>The people who finished the challenge ate over 20 regular sized burritos and one literally grizzly bear size
I refuse to believe this.

Also, ignoring all the facts like the bears getting to go in stores and talk to people normally, it's not fucking fair for one of them to be able to go into this challenge with the same rewards.

They're fucking BEARS. They have different body types than humans. Is this just one of those things like how some of the animals can't talk but the bears and nom nom can?

>inb4 it's just a cartoon
>>
>>80748518

>>
>>80748096
I hate babies. They can't talk, shit, vomit, piss snot, drool. They literally constantly spew fluids from every orifice they can and no matter how much you help them they will never thank you.
>>
>>80749039
Your answer is fine. I know that many of these things are purposefully kept quiet, so I don't expect to ever know the reasons for certain
>>
>>80749066
I think the biggest misstep of WBB is that the bears are just...people. Like no one ever reacts as if they're bears, the fact that they're bears only really comes up once in a while. And it'd be one thing if they lived in a world FULL of talking animals but as far as we see it's just them, Harry, and Nom-nom.It just feels like it's not cashing in on that as much as it could have.
>>
>>80749128
>piss snot
AAHHH WHAT THE FUCK
>>
>>80749247
I guess there's something to it about the animals talking part. Shows that do this seem to have some sort of "diversity" thing, like the ones who can talk are better and the ones who don't are retarded or something.

Rigby from RS found a racoon while cleaning around the house one time and instead of it doing anything it just kinda hissed at him. He called it a wuss and kept going. It wasn't even drawn with personality, it looked literally like a simple animal.

I kinda felt like that meant something but I guess it was just a thing.

I wonder if the Loosing Ice rumor is true. It was up on the wikia with a citation to I think Zap2It or some other site, it was along the lines of
>Ice Bear defends Cloe after someone tries to steal her stuff, but accidentally hurts him. Ice is seen as a rabid animal hurting the town and is taken away

Though I believe it's fake since it was taken down.

Though that and Primal makes me think, will the bears ever loose it?

The problem isn't single-parenthood, the issue is in a lack of an extended family.

Especially in America, everyone is so isolated. If someone talks about regularly interacting with their cousins people automatically assume they're Mexicans, that's how isolated people in the country are from their own family.

Kids need to be surrounded by lots of people. Just adding one more isn't it.

the animation has been stiff from the get-go. Between the webcomic and the cartoon I thought only the writing changed during the creation of the show. then I saw the pilot and got disappointed at how flat the series is compared to the pilot episode. The art crew is too stuck on having it look like a children's book that they're not taking advantage of the principles of animation like exaggeration and posing. with RS and AT we got at least a couple seasons of good animation before going flat

And isn't that fairly narcissistic? You're betting on yourself that your child, a separate person, will turn out at least halfway respectable and functional individual, or that he/she will come to love life.

Not even this guy>>80751839, but I've lately reached the conclusion that, at the very least, if one is all right with bringing people to the world, one shouldn't chide anyone for wanting to commit suicide.

It's not like anyone chooses to be born.

Well, we don't know why we're meant to live either.

We're here because our parents had sex with each other at least once. That's all. There's no mystery to it. At most, you can ask your parents why they wanted you - IF they ever wanted you in the first place, that is.

Quite a bit. They're smelly, noisy, ugly little shit machines that parents expect you to find ever so adorable.

Calm down breeder, some people don't want kids.
>>
>>80748096
I hate babies so much I will never willingly procreate.
>>
A lot, but luckily it's graduated to a hate of their parent's as well so I guess that means it's shifting.

>it's likely that they are quite selfish

As opposed to having kids, which is just absolutely selfless isn't it.
>>

I don't hate babies, I only find them repulsive. I hate their parents for bringing them into this world. and putting them in my vicinity.

And people who bring babies to the cinema need a nice hot cup of acid in the fucking face.

Both and there's already 7 billion of us shitting up the place and I really don't want to add fuel to the fire.
>>
>>80750956
>because they realize that they would make terrible parents?
This, I'm a shitty son, brother, friend and probably would be a shitty father.
>>

Don't hate them at all. They're cute and innocent. People that hated babies should either kill themselves or hop into a time machine and convince their parent to kill him or her. They don't even have the right to exist much less complain.
