I'm okay with him now. He's the least thing to worry about in Johns' JL run.
He's the Donatello of the JL because he "does machines".
I do think he has a lot of potential. He's a guy who's got apokolpian tech and is a a link between man and machine. But Walker is just a screen writer, who can write a bland book with a whiny Cyborg to make him more humane. Because whiny and emo means more dimensional nowadays. He just needs a writer to reinvent him.

Without Martian Manhunter there's no major psychic unless you want to count weird applications of Aquaman's power set, and on the magic side you could always use a dude that knows some Dr Fate shit.

He's fine in the Titans and Outsiders I suppose. Don't really see him as a JL member. My order is usually Supes, Bats, Rayner, Wally, Wondy at the top after MM and Aquamang. Plastic Man, Blue and Gold and Elongated Man are all legit too.

I have enjyeoed him in the Justice League. He shinned the best in Origin, and Throne of Atlanis, and his team up with the Metal Men was cool. It's also nice to se his interactions with his dad since he is the only hero who actually has a dad who isn't dead.
However it would have felt more appropriate Black Lightning was the member instead if they wanted a black member. Not to mention Cyborg has been getting weaker lately, especially when he lost control of his body twice now. It's getting irritating.

He's not my favorite character but I've learned to like him, especially once he got the new suit.
His adventure with the Metal Men during FE was a nice little romp, and his solo series has had its moments, so he's cool in my book.
I simply don't care about robots, it's not an interesting concept for me.
In saying that, I like that he does a lot of the boring leg work in the league.
