It is a fantastic show. A revival done absolutely fucking right.
They even got Duckula in a good mix between his original villainous ways and his goofy attention seeking spin-off personality. They just have to add Igor and Nanny and I will be completely satisfied.
The 80's show is comparatively better overall, but the reboot is damn good fun.

It's interesting whenever a show decides to animate entirely new things for promos instead of just reusing old clips and assets.

There's more time for most episodes (mostly 22 minutes or so, with the occasional 10 minute episode) which means more time for David Jason and Terry Scott to deliver delightfully batty dialogue, repeat the same catchphrases over and over again, and make terrible puns. Also, Greenback isn't German, the narrator is funny, and Stiletto actually sounds Italian.I love Dave Lamb, but he's wasted on that show.

Netflix apparently announced this about a year ago. It's possible they funded some of the production.
