Let's be fucking real, most of these will be cameos. The movies will focus on one group of protagonists primarily, with the other heroes having cameos or much, much smaller roles in side plots. It'll be like a comic book event. Just think of it like the LotR films or Star Wars. There'll be lots of characters in the background for people to name and recognize, which will be pretty cool for them, but that's just the thing: they'll be in the background. Only difference is, unlike LotR, The Hobbit, or SW, the background characters will have had their own movies or will have been supporting characters in other movies. So they'll have more background established than in typical large, epic Hollywood movies.
At most, the majority of them will have one or two lines and they'll be in-character but the story will largely focus on some twenty characters or so, which might sound kinda bad, but it'll be more about the plot than character development, with the Avengers and the GotG rushing to stop Thanos from getting all the Infinity Gems and then trying to stop him once he gets them all.
Bet on it. If anything, they'll be less of a clusterfuck than Civil War.

Vision's arc is about embracing his humanity and facing death.
Wanda's arc is going to build to the "moment" (we all know what it is) when her inner strength and the control of her powers will face the ultimate test.Chthonmight have planned for this and be using it to get what he wants.
When Thanos travels to Earth in Pt2 focus will shift more to the normies joining in the fight.
Someone actually asked at the panel how they intend to do a movie with so many characters and the Russo's said they'd likely be focusing on a few characters and their problems specifically with the huge cast as almost background characters.
