Not to mention it's only been relatively recently that the New Gods have been shown to be that powerful anyway. There was a crossover in the 90s where Galactus came much closer to eating Apokolips than he ever did Earth.

I'm a Marvel guy, but thr Justice League wins by far. The only matchups that might see a Marvel victory would be Iron Man vs. Batman and maybe Vision vs. MM. The JL, at their best, are essentially gods.

Superman is strong as fuck, no doubt about that, but there's a lot more magic-based characters in Marvel and that magic would give them the advantage over him. Mjolnir is magic, for example, so if Supes takes one hit from that he's fucking dead - and that's just one character.
In all honesty, Flash and Martian Manhunter are the biggest threats to Marvel.
