If you read Transformers comics, you know that this fucknut cannot draw at all.
He frequently uses stock images as backgrounds with several photoshop filters over them, doesn't know how to draw facial expressions for shit, has been known to copy and paste characters wholesale between panels, just rotating and stretching the artwork to the characters will face different directions, he uses this weird texture that looks like garbage to color transformers and to give them "detail," and has on several occasions just flat out drawn the incorrect characters in scenes because he doesn't actually know anything about transformers.
If Transformers comics were more popular I have no doubt that he would be the most hated person in the comics industry because of how hideous his art is, and I imagine the only reason IDW keeps him around is to assign him to comics they don't want to actually make anymore.

Here's another example. On the right is what the character Kup is supposed to look like at this point in the story, and on the left is how Livio Ramondelli drew him because he didn't know what Kup actually looked like so he just googled a picture of the toy.
He has no respect for the source material to the point where he can't even be bothered to check previous issues of the comic to see what a character is supposed to look like.

Nah, Liefeld's way better than a lot of today's FotM artists. The only issue is that modern coloring doesn't look good with his style, which is a problem a lot of artists from the pre-00s face. The whole shiny gradient computer coloring shit makes his art look way to plasticy as opposed to his 90s art which had that dope as fuck crosshatching that made everything look bombastic and extreme.

Charlie Adlard, but only because he's stuck illustrating creative bankruptcy half the time. If the man isn't rushed, or given freedom to draw what he wishes, he is pretty damn good. But in Walking Dead, I swear, half the panels are filled with people in half-profile, smiling. Same faces, same smile, same eyes. Also, he can't do low-angle faces worth a shit, because suddenly everyone's chin grows twice its size.

Speaking as an artist, I think it's a matter of how much you are challenged, and how much of the human body and spacial placement you've memorized. Adlard doesn't seem to be challenged or passionate about what he's doing, if the art is any indication. And can you blame him?
Walking Dead is just people doing people things. Invincible is about superheroes, so I imagine it's much more dynamic and diverse in what is shown. TWD is just corpse, human, corpse, human, corpse. Nothing special there. In Invincible you got humans, human-like aliens, alien aliens, and robots, if I remember right.
