The source picture had the same issue.

2000 has anime in it for some reason?
>>
>>79711719
Yea, the 2000s were so bad that Japan was used as a safe haven.
>>
>>79711378
A lot of the Anime it picks are smaller productions but It wants it to seem like it's representing animation over all. I mean there is a ton of anime more important to the 1980's decade than fucking Minky Momo.
>>
>>79711719
and 2010- see, there's Ryuko from Kill La Kill.

Arguments could be made about which characters are popular/iconic enough to deserve a place here, but I'd cut out cartoons specifically aimed at adults (Futurama, Simpsons, etc) as well as culling all the sequels/reboots.

Some shit that definitely shouldn't be there:

>Whatever the fuck that 90's purple thing is
>90's police cat
>Thing between Aang and Bloo in 2000s
>That fucking pink thing inbetween the 00s and the 10s
>Gumball
>The weird brown haired things at 12 and 4 in the 2000s

Also,
>No Dexter, PPG, EEnE, or Angry Beavers
>>
>>79711378
Is this thing REALLY trying to tell me that DBZ wasn't relevant in the last four decades?
>>
>>79711959
>Whatever the fuck that 90's purple thing is
Gargoyles?
>The weird brown haired things at 12 and 4 in the 2000s
Haruhi Suzumiya, she actually kinda belongs since that was a landmark show for japan in that decade. The other one is the girl from Hamtaro and I assume she's only there because the TMS fag made this image.
>>
>>79712029
>Gargoyles

Ah, sorry then. I've never seen it, but I've only heard good things about it.

>Haruhi Suzumiya and Hamtaro
Should be in anime, and should have used fucking Hamtaro as the image as he's more recognizable.
>>
>>79711378

For one thing, it has Futurama but not the Simpsons.

For another, it completely skips Phineas and Ferb, which was one of the most popular shows for its era until Disney scheduling messed it up. People tend to forget or outright ignore the fact that it still was the highest rated animated show on Disney Channel up until they switched it over to Disney XD and started having random months long hiatuses between episodes.
>>
>>79711378
The sun thing from the 2000's has a ballsack.
>>
>>79712194
The Simpsons is in the 80s picture. You can clearly see Bart's face.
>>
>>79712295

Oh, hell, the way the image flips screwed me up. Doesn't help either that half of the '60s shows got '80s revivals.

Puss n' Boots belongs in 1970s because of the two sequels.

Momo was huge when it came out, still heres the Japanese animation listed.

Nothing before the 60s because Japan was still garbage island in those day, remember Back To The Future 2. Also WW2 in the 40s.

Fin is also on there as Food Chain was led by Science Saru but was still animated by Korean studios (not Sai-Ron & Rough Draft who do the main show themselves).
>>
>>79711378
cherrypicked animu girl heads
I'm sure the 90s has better anime than card captors
>>
>>79712092
The girl from Hamtaro is this guy's waifu, he has an autistic obsession with her and the show and seems to think it's important to animation overall. Also Anime is all over the place in this chart 1980s, 1970s, 1960s, I can't tell what all of them are, but some are incredibly niche shows that aren't too significant.
>>
>>79712403
Minky Momo wasn't even as big as Creamy Mami, and it certainly wasn't as big things like Ideon, Akira, GitS, most of the 80s OAV boom, and etc. as far as 80's go she's not a good example to represent anime.
>>

Can anyone answer the rest of these? I assume the blue haired 00s one is for Eva just because she's 75% of the fanart. But the rest I'm stumped.

Remove any dupes, pick a damn decade.
Nothing on the middle line anymore- choose one.
Remove all anime
Remove all adult shows (even Rick and Morty)

Add PPG and Dexter at least.

Phineas and Ferb, while I never liked it, does deserve a spot.

They weren't significant overall, neither was Gummi Bears honestly. Just because these are shows you remember and liked as a kid doesn't mean they're significant. The genre of magical girl Minky Momo pioneered doesn't even exist anymore, and was quickly replaced by the sentai inspired Sailor Moon formula.

>Those were the good western shows in the 2000s.
Stop dodging the question, what do you mean exactly by "holdovers from the 80s/90s"?
Do you mean "the only good 00s cartoons were inspired by 80s/90s cartoons"? Or "the only good 00s cartoons were made by creators of 80s/90s cartoons"? Or do you really think a cartoon that came out in 2008 was in production since 1987?
>>
>>79712704
>God, this fucking thread again.
these need to be nuked on sight like MrEnter threads
>>
>>79713172
>They weren't significant overall, neither was Gummi Bears
Yes they were, Gummi Bears brought quality animation to television. full time.
>>79713183
I'm talking about The Simnpsons (1989, shorts were in 1987), Futurama (1999) and Spongebob (1999).
>>
>>79713237
What's wrong with MrEnter? Sure he's a repetitive brony faggot, but otherwise he's harmless.
>>
>>79711378
TMSfag, let me ask you some questions because of course your retarded ass would answer them. Be honest now.

Do you have a wife? Do you have a job? Kids? What's your goal? Did your unhealthy obsession with Japanese animation stem somewhere? Are you aware about how people do not like you at all and want you to leave? Are there people like that in your real life?
>>
>>79713266
Gummi Bears wasn't memorable in itself though, out of all the Disney television cartoons from back then, I'd say it had the least impact.
>>
>>79713290
He's been pulling bullshit facts out of his autismal ass since 2004.
>>
>>79713172
>neither was Gummi Bears honestly.

While most, if not all, of the anime shows didn't really have much influence and shouldn't be on there, the success of the Gummi Bears played a pretty big role in terms of getting Disney more into television animation. Without it, I doubt there's a Disney Afternoon.
>>
>>79713386
>While most, if not all, of the anime shows didn't really have much influence and shouldn't be on there,
No some of the anime shows definitely belong there too. Astroboy, Speed Racer, Lupin, Anne or Conan (I honestly just loop World Masterpiece Theater into one thing), and Urusei Yatsura belong there.
>>
>>79713284
janitors delete MrEnter threads on sight
>>
>>79713386
Girls still show up in Lum outfits to this very day however.
>>
>>79711378
>no MLP:FIM
>>
>>79713482
Also Toei Puss 'n Boots, Hamtaro & Mirumo (the later being Japan's answer to FOP) as well.
>>
>>79713362
Are you talking about MrEnter?

Cause if you are I'd honestly like an example. Not trying to defend him, but I want to know if it's vitriolic hatred or just general annoyance.
>>
>>79711378
It goes from left to right, then right to left, then left to right. Someone needs to fix the middle row.
>>
>>79713486
Why?

I'm honestly curious, is it just cause he's a brony?
>>
>>79713527
No the autismo who keeps making this fucking thread, Famicom64/PC-Famicom64famihamu64.deviantart.com
>>
>>79713572
Ah well I could tell he's a faggot.
>>
>>79713591
No he is not.
>>
>>79713524
No those aren't big enough with the limited amount of space there, Doraemon should definitely be recognized over Puss 'n Boots. Also I'm incredibly curious as to why you think Hamtaro was any response to FoP. It's just an animated adaptation of a childrens book, honestly I'd consider Ebichu more important than it.
>>
>>79713608
Stop pretending to be someone else.
>>
>>79713676
I'm still confused why MrEnter is banned on sight. Brony or e-celeb bullshit?
>>
>>79713748
The latter
>>
>>79713670
The Doraemon anime was in the 70s and it is Mirumo De Pon that was Japan's answer to FOP, not Hamtaro.

Ebichi is not important and Laura and Kana are just as important as Buster and Babs, as well as Bugs, Daffy and Porky & Yakko, Wakko and Dot.
>>
>>79713773
Ah. Yeah that's totally valid.
>>
>>79713808
He is not Doug Walker or James Rolfe levels of fame; Why bother?
>>
>>79713846
I'd assume it's the principle of the thing.
>>
>>79713965
About yea.
>>
>>79713803
>Laura and Kana are just as important as Buster and Babs, as well as Bugs, Daffy and Porky & Yakko, Wakko and Dot
They aren't, no one cares about them but you and your obsessive waifuism. Also Puss and Boots was 70s too, it's a trilogy and most of it was in the seventies.
>>
>>79714054
He has the same pedophillic obsession for the little girls from LilPri
>>
>>79714085
It's just weird, I remember watching Hamtaro and Laura and Kana weren't even important in the show. They got some screen time, but it was pretty minimal since they weren't the focus.
>>
>>79714054
Yes they do, otherwise explain this then.
http://rule34.paheal.net/post/view/154937

Also the only one that mattered (aka, the one done by proto-Ghibli) was in 1969.
>>
>>79714133
>http://rule34.paheal.net/post/view/154937
The image was deleted, or at least it's not there anymore. Also I don't get why you think cartoon porn would prove your point.
>>
>>79714128
Blame SMDE. If TMS had their why we would of got Tiny Toons 2.0 out of Laura and Kana.
>>
>>79714181
http://rule34.paheal.net/post/view/1549373

How about now?
>>
>>79714241
Yeah now I see the picture, but it still doesn't prove anything. It's just a generic porn picture. I knew there was porn of it, but there's not a lot out there, I mean not compared to things like Eva, Sailor Moon, Cowboy Bebop, or even Turn A Gundam by itself.
>>
>>79713266
>I'm talking about The Simnpsons (1989, shorts were in 1987), Futurama (1999) and Spongebob (1999).

Are you such a weeb that you don't know about Venture Bros, Aqua Teen, Fosters Home, Chowder, Brave and the Bold, Clone Wars, Spectacular Spider-Man, or any of the other good cartoons from the 00's? You have to cite cartoons that started in another decade because you refuse to look up any that came out in the decade you're arguing against?
>>
>>79714867
I am not familiar with any of those. Sorry.
>>
>>79714908
And this is why no one takes your chart seriously.
