Ivy has a job doing science stuff. She takes a really old plant back to her science job. Goes drinking with Harley, has a fight with her. Next morning her science plants are super big, she goes to talk to her co worker, co worker is dead. It was a slow start.

>can someone sum up Ivy for me?
Ivy gets a job working with plants thanks to a very nice woman who also works there. She brings back a very old plant to the job. Harley comes to visit and they go talk about how Ivy has been spending more time at her job, then beat up some troublemakers at the bar or something. Ivy goes back home and talks to her plants. Then the last couple pages are her freaking out over one of the plants at her job growing too much without her help, and then she discovers the dead body of the nice woman she worked with.
/co/ got triggered by Harley appearing and one of the old scientists there being sexist.

/co/ can eat a dick. If a writer wants to address an issue, that's their right. Goodness knows I wish Wondy books were still about that kind of stuff. I mean, I like adventures as much as anybody, but Diana's pretty strongly attached to the idea of bringing up talking points, and the lack of(or limp-wristed attempts at it) are why the character has stagnated for so long.

just poking around the CBR thread

that one guy is really upset that Edge of Oblivion features Guy more than John even though nobody ever said it was going to be John centric and it's not called Green Lantern John Stewart & Pals

>

This is what concerns me. It just doesn't seem like John Stewart is a character that is specifically being primed for film. With Wonder Woman, I can see DC trying. She's gotten numerous digital first comics recently, she's got her own book still, and she's playing a big role in Justice League. With Cyborg, I see them trying. I saw them trying with Aquaman when they put Johns on the book and so on, and attempted to expand his universe with that Dan Jurgens title that flopped. It didn't work out, but I saw them try something. With John Stewart? Heck, he's a background character in a Guy Gardner book. His own books keep getting mysteriously cancelled. This doesn't look like they're trying. Will this be John's fate on film, too? To asexually linger in the background while some white Green Lantern(s) does stuff?

Apparently the solicits were wrong yesterday?
Lobdell isn't writing any Titans Hunt.

So that's one less thing to not complain about.

>starring three of DC's most powerful teams JLA, JSA, and Teen Titans

Haha I remember when JSA was still relevant

I heard the fill-in solicit for Robin: SOB was a misprint, too, and was actually describing today's issue.

speaking of solicits, THE FIX is finally close to hitting reality
>>
